AREAS AFFECTED : ARCHER, TX; CLAY, TX

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. 
 
* WHERE...A portion of northern Texas, including the following 
counties, Archer and Clay. 
 
* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT Wednesday. 
 
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain 
closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess 
runoff from earlier rainfall. It will take several hours for all 
the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. 
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... 
- At 1220 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to 
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain 
have fallen. 
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... 
Scotland, Windthorst, Bellevue, Bluegrove, southern Lake 
Arrowhead, Newport, Joy, Shannon and Vashti.
