AREAS AFFECTED : WESTERN SHASTA COUNTY FOOTHILLS BETWEEN 1000-3000 FT; SOUTH-CENTRAL SHASTA COUNTY INCLUDING REDDING METRO; SIERRA NEVADA OF TEHAMA-BUTTE-PLUMAS COUNTIES BETWEEN 1000-3000 FT; WESTERN TEHAMA COUNTY FOOTHILLS BETWEEN 1000-3000 FT; NORTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY IN TEHAMA COUNTY; BUTTE COUNTY BELOW 1000 FT

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, temperatures 100 to 105 with 
widespread Moderate HeatRisk and areas of Major HeatRisk. For the 
Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with temperatures 
up to 110 expected with widespread Major HeatRisk. 
 
* WHERE...Butte County Below 1000 ft, N. Sac Valley in Tehama 
County, Shasta Metro, Sierra (Tehama-Plumas) 1000-3000 ft, W 
Tehama Co Foothills 1000-3000 ft, and W. Shasta County 1000-3000 
ft. 
 
* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 11 PM PDT this evening. For 
the Extreme Heat Warning, from 11 AM Sunday to 11 PM PDT Tuesday. 
 
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses, especially 
for those more sensitive to heat. 
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Hot daytime temperatures will occur in other 
Valley locations, though Delta breeze influence will better 
moderate local temperatures in the remainder of the Valley.
