High Wind Warning for Glacier Bay, Eastern Chichagof Island, City and Borough of Juneau

AREAS AFFECTED : GLACIER BAY; EASTERN CHICHAGOF ISLAND; CITY AND BOROUGH OF JUNEAU

* WHAT...Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph 
expected. 
 
* WHERE...Glacier Bay and Eastern Chichagof Island. 
 
* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT this afternoon. 
 
* IMPACTS...High winds will blow around unsecured objects and 
may damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be 
difficult. 
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds are expected to begin 
shortly and continue through 2 pm Wednesday afternoon.
